Teaching
I am a firm believer in student-centered learning. My job as a teacher is to be as attentive to student needs as possible in order to provide the best support I can. I enjoy teaching most when it is clear that students are excited about their progress and developing their own love of music. Lessons can focus on improvisation, repertoire, technique and composition. All levels and ages welcome.Â

Emma McLaughlin
Great instructor! Has a really good way of teaching the music. Is prompt, responsible, and professional. As an older adult learning piano for the first time, I was hesitant about taking lessons online. Will is patient, he makes sure you understand what he is talking about before moving on. Gives great feedback for everything you are working on. Makes learning piano fun. Not only teaches how to play the piano, but also understanding the notes and music. I look forward to my weekly piano lessons with Will. If there were more stars he would get them.

Will is an excellent communicator, encouraging, enthusiastic and very knowledgble. Resuming piano lessons after many years, he has tailored instruction to my skill level making it fun and challenging. I've learned a great deal about jazz piano and progressed beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.

Nolan Serbent
I worked with Will for a 6 month period, over which my understanding of piano technique, jazz theory, and musicianship all developed greatly. Will is an incredibly humble and supportive teacher, while sporting all of the wealth of knowledge to provide inspiration every lesson and help explore whatever questions came up over the course of our study. He was particularly good at managing the balance between self-directed study to pursue personal interests while also providing the necessary pre-requisites and surrounding knowledge to facilitate effect development.
